LIfe is complete when it is not

Life is like this lovely journey, where you pass from one hurdle to the next to stop, but you can't stop so you carry on chugging waiting for the next stop.

Just like the wait for weekends, when it happens it doesn't stop for long and you wait for another time, when its going to happen all over again. Just like a job, you get the right type of job and then you are looking for other things, the motivation is to move on the next stop, where you are goign to be happy for a while.

I am very sceptical about people who make up thier mind to be career oriented, or goal oriented visting just one step with total dedication,(i not taking about doing without planning) i am talking about people in almost hypnotical freenzy to achieve something, keeping thier ears, noose and good knows what else shut in a single minded determination to good ahead...

well philosophers have a choice, either wonder about life or get to preeching something they themselves wont accept :)

The Future - 2030

I was just wondering what would be the future on a country like india, few decades from now, will continue to be a support powerhouse for the world, or will it somehow convet itself to a product powerhouse in itself. The first one is happening, the second can happen.

Imagine, a simple equation, an average indian it worker spends atleast 12 - 15 hours on work life atleast 2-3 times a week, and does not complain working on weekends or working on pojects which have no head or tail.

Quite a mature work force, yet not so respected for its abilites within india itself. Imagine this work force is not about a few hundred but a few million people.

what do we have? a big portion of microsoft, oracle, dell, hp combined among others which is still growing. so we are actually playing a part, of providing the best support to the world leaders in software.

If somehow we change the equation to we make and supply products, a large share of global market gets into the indian share. so logically the next versions of microsoft word can be developed in india as long as we are willing to use our brains to make a product, supporting the project and maintenance is not a problem.

So whats stopping us, from doing this?
Well indians can create softwares and sell them in United States, at prices cheaper then microsoft sells word - microsoft did this to apple once ;)

---------------

Why this couldn't have happened before?
simple we never had such a large work force dedicated to one sector - thinking! for a very long time, a software professional unlike a accountant has to complete projects for a big range of industries. and his analytical skills are better then an average expert in the industry itself.

These skills through the medium of software can be expanded and help solve an amazing no of problems.

---------------

why this needs to happen now?
hmmm.... its a cycle, no offence to i am bigger or better, but finally for some unanswered reason india has a chance of giving something to the world, other then reports of corruption and fighting for kashmir.
